Two of Jerry Takigawa’s False Food images, Untitled F-379 and Untitled F-406, will be exhibited at the 6th International Marine Debris Conference. Hosted by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and United Nations Environment, the conference will be held March 12-16, 2018, in San Diego. This will be the second year that the conference will hold an exhibition featuring artists working with ocean pollution—specifically marine debris—to raise awareness about ocean pollution and immerse conference participants in an emotional, visceral understanding of the depth of marine debris’ impact.
