MCD Recycled Plastic “Make Art” Workshop for Kids

San Francisco’s Museum of Craft and Design recently hosted a Recycled Plastic Fish Art Workshop for kids. Key ideas behind Jerry Takigawa’s “False Food” exhibit were discussed, and the kids created their own fish art while learning about creative reuse and waste reduction.

Here’s what some of the young artists had to say:
“I think it was cool because we got to make the fish and look at the pictures.”
“(My favorite part was) how much cool recycled stuff there was. (I learned) how important it is not to litter.’
“Epic!”

The “False Food” exhibit will be on display through January 19, 2014. The museum is located at 2569 Third Street, San Francisco, CA 94107.
