New Work from Balancing Cultures Exhibited in Santa Fe and Mill Valley

New work from Jerry Takigawa’s current project, Balancing Cultures, will be shown in two group exhibitions: Art and Oppression, a curated exhibition at CENTER in Santa Fe, NM, and Reflect and Engage, a juried exhibition exploring the connection between ourselves, our communities, and the larger global society, at The Image Flow in Mill Valley, CA. About the Balancing Cultures series, Takigawa wrote: “This work gives voice to a long-silenced family story… “We must consider that the divisive polarities we see in the world today are caused by our inability to live with duality.”
