Ten photographs from Jerry Takigawa’s Balancing Cultures series have been selected to be part of Atlanta Photography Group’s Portfolio 2019 exhibition. Juror Paula Tognarelli, Executive Director and Curator of the Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester, Massachusetts, chose work from five artists, “chosen to represent the best of contemporary photography from a national call for entries.” Featured artists include: Courtney Asztalos, Purple Domino; Jerry Takigawa, Balancing Cultures; Kris Vervaeke, Ad Iinfinitum; Nina Monrreal, Enelcielo; and Shinya Masuda, HANAFUDA SHOUZOKU.
