Chaeg Magazine to Feature an Article on False Food
Jerry Takigawa’s False Food photography series will be featured in the May, 2017, issue of Chaeg magazine in South Korea. About False Food, Takigawa said: “In lieu of proliferating horrific images of ocean plastic pollution, False Food endeavors to make something transformative—images that don’t numb the conscience but rather raise it.” Chaeg is a South Korean cultural magazine dedicated to the world of books, with a special affinity for contemporary photography. They have featured artists such as Richard Mosse, Charles Freger, Hellen Van Meene, Chris Jordan, Patrick Willocq, and Bae Bien-U, among others. Chaeg is distributed in major cultural institutions and bookshops in South Korea.
