The Center for Photographic Art’s 2020 Members’ Juried Exhibition will open on June 27. From more than 1500 images submitted, this year’s jurors, Ann Jastrab and Laura Sackett, selected 90 photographs. Of those, 45 will be shown in CPA’s Carmel, CA, gallery and 45 will be displayed on CPA’s website. When You Leave, from Jerry Takigawa’s Balancing Cultures series, was one of the works selected for the gallery exhibition.

Before coming onboard as CPA’s Executive Director, Ann Jastrab was the gallery manager at Scott Nichols Gallery, in San Francisco, where she incorporated the work of contemporary artists with work by some of the legends of photography. Prior to that, Ann was the gallery director at RayKo Photo Center, in San Francisco. Laura Sackett is Creative Director and partner in LensCulture, a leading online magazine and photography network committed to discovering and promoting the best in global contemporary photography. Laura was also a founding board member of PhotoAlliance, in San Francisco.
